ICC MC Authority
If a business operates for employment, transports passengers in interstate commerce, or transports goods that are subject to federal regulation, they must have an MC Authority or an ICC.
There are many authorities, such as brokers and for-hire trucking, depending on the firms and the sort of business they intend to operate.
NY HUT
On motor carriers operating specific types of commercial motor vehicles on New York State public highways, the state of New York levies a highway usage tax (NY HUT). Truckers should indicate in their mile logs that the New York HUT does not apply to toll-paid sections of the New York State Thruway.
The commercial vehicle's weight and the trucker's preferred method of tax reporting determine the tax rate.
Kentucky Permit (KENTUCKY KYU)
All operators in Kentucky who have a licenced weight of at least 60,000 pounds are required to disclose mileage tax. Kentucky Highways Use Tax is referred to as KYU. All operators can register for a Kentucky Permit online and make payments. Operators in Kentucky state that miles travelled must be reported every three months. Get KYU with our assistance.
New Mexico WDT
When claimed weight exceeds 26,000 pounds, the state of New Mexico levies a weight distance tax on interstate and intrastate operators. A New Mexico weight distance tax electronic permit must be registered for each vehicle.
If they want to pass through the state of New Mexico, all operators must have a WDT permit. Online quarterly mile reports are required for each operator. If you meet all standards, our knowledgeable team can provide you New Mexico WDT permits in a matter of minutes; if not, we will obtain the necessary papers on your behalf.

Our knowledgeable and experienced staff, however, is completely qualified to assist your trucking business in obtaining the necessary Oregon Fuel permits.
The operation of unregistered motor vehicles weighing more than 8,000 pounds (loaded or combined*) as well as self-propelled fixed-loadĀ trucks, regardless of weight, is permitted by the heavy motor vehicle trip permission (also known as the Oregon fuel permit).
Quarterly IFTA Filing
Every motor carrier must submit quarterly driven mile reports to IFTA accounts so BOE can calculate your tax. We are IFTA filing authorities. We ensure that your fuel tax is properly filed. We even assist our clients in calculating miles and fuel consumption based on the many states they travel through.
Please get in touch with us for additional details. The last day of the month after the final day of the quarter for which the IFTA fuel tax report is being filed is the DUE DATE for the IFTA quarterly tax return.
VIN Verification
The complete history of a vehicle, including the number of owners, title changes, and wreck or damage history, may be learned using the VIN of a commercial truck. When purchasing used cars, having this is a powerful benefit.
You can avoid discovering facts that the Seller might not have provided. VIN checks will assist you in getting the most value possible from any commercial truck you choose to buy.
ARB Number
The California Air Resources Board issues Reefer units with an ARB number to help identify them and determine whether they are in compliance.
You must have ARB numbers on your reefer trailers if you reside in the state of California. You are not obligated to have the ARB numbers on your unit if you reside outside of California.
CARB Certificate
From 14,001 pounds and up, all diesel trucks must comply with California CARB regulations. Ventura concentrated on medium-duty trucks (14,000 to 26,000 pounds) in the video.
CARB compliance is concerned with federal regulations that lower these automobiles' emissions. In 2008, California made the decision to set a compliance deadline for companies using Class C vehicles. Compliance relates to the model year of the engine, not the truck's year.
